Also, do you plan on adding components to the TV like a DVD player or gaming console? If so, then you need to consider getting a bracket that comes with a shelving unit as well so you will not have all sorts of devices all over the floor!

And lastly, if you plan to place the bracket in the wall, you need to figure out if the wall is sturdy enough. The last thing you want to do is place the bracket in the wall, anchor it, and place the TV on it only to realize later that you need a better structure.
